Welcome to the Studio - Gallery
After years of moving from place to place, both house and studio, I have at last settled into a space that feels like somewhere I can welcome people in to share my art adventures. It is a small, cozy room tucked inside the South West Arts Inc. building, 122 End Street, Deniliquin, or as I often refer to it, 'the old Conargo Shire Building'.
South West Arts, supported by Regional Arts NSW and local government, provide sustainable development of arts and cultural development for this corner of New South Wales. Behind the doors along the corridor are a collection of community and art focused enterprises. I can leave my door open to listen to the music playing from the youth radio station, The End FM, or when the music teachers and students are in there is a beautiful stream of classical piano playing.
It is a lovely place to come to work in each day and I am finally finding myself creating daily structure to build upon - so much so that here I am starting off this journal. I'll be gently optimistic and commit to weekly entries for now.
If you have any interest in art or craft, plants and nature, then I invite you to come along on my travels to be curious and intrigued as we come across all the wonderful and weird things in the realm of nature and art.
