About

Located in Deniliquin NSW, Riverbend Botanic was started by Sonya Robinson as part of the global movement to reclaim more traditional, sustainable practices to create unique textiles and art materials. All dyes she uses are plant based, most of which are grown in her dye garden or gathered in the local area.

Riverbend Botanic is committed to creating products that bring joy to the people who use them and encouraging a deeper appreciation and knowledge of their natural beauty.

The dye garden contains traditional dye plants from Europe and Asia such as madder, Japanese Indigo, and European bugleweed. The garden is a work in progress, a place to observe and learn about the plants as a source of dye.

Riverbend Botanic is progressively moving towards all dyes being locally sourced and using evermore sustainable and ethically produced textiles.
